Established in 1983, Transfilm is one of the leading production company for film and television in Canada. Based in Montreal and with an office in Paris, Transfilm has produced renowned motion pictures as well as prestigious television series. As one of the most respected independent production company in Canada, Transfilm was involved in financing and production on some of the most notarious international projects involving canadian film business. With strong expertise in financial know how and international coproductions, Transfilm has built a solid business network in North America, Europe and in the rest of the world, with access to innovative financing.

Mr. Léger is one of the most influential independent producers in Canada. In 1983, he founded Transfilm, a company that he still directs and manages today. For more than thirty years, Mr. Léger has produced a wide variety of prestigious Feature films and Television series with renowned actors and directors. For all those years, Mr. Léger has found unique ways to combine the various possibilities of international coproductions with original financing capabilities.

Mr. Vanger is a British independent producer with more than twenty five Feature films and Television series to his credit in South Africa, Australia, Europe and the US. For numerous years, Mr. Vanger was a director of a completion bond company with offices in London and Los Angeles. Since 1994, Mr Vanger has worked actively setting up international coproductions at Transfilm, notably as British coproducer and managing and expanding joint operations in English speaking markets.

Mr. Proulx has been a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Québec since 1978. Working until 1991 for Accountancy firm Pétrie & Raymond, Mr Proulx has developed an expertise in fiscal analysis. From 1991 to 1997, he managed his own consulting firm and specialised in film production. He works as auditor and external fiscal advisor for many clients, including Transfilm. In 1997, he joins Transfilm as a financial consultant overseeing all financial, administrative and accounting operations.

Ginette Guillard has held numerous positions in film production, assisting many famous filmmakers both from Quebec and abroad. For the past ten years, she has acted as line producer within Transfilm, supervising development and production of coproduction projects between Transfilm and its European partners.

Fresh from studies in Litterature and Philosophy, he embarks on a career in film, working as a technician and directing documentaries for the National Film Board of Canada. In 1976, he creates Films Stock Ltd, specialised in educational projects, and in 1984 he starts Films Stock International, acting both as producer and writer. He produced fifteen motion pictures with directors such as Werner Herzog, and actors such as Donald Sutherland and Kevin Costner. He was also executive producer of EdTV, produced by Universal Pictures and so far the only Hollywood remake (Louis 19) in the history of Canadian cinema. Currently, he is head of script development at Transfilm.
